The rehabilitation work of the building of Ca l’Alier carried out by Calaf Constructora and the UTE VOPI4-Elecnor won the Catalunya Construcció award in the category of heritage rehabilitation. Calaf Constructora will be responsible for the construction of the underground through a system of engineering not already been applied to the city’s subsoil. The building has been qualified with the LEED Platinum which certifies the building with a minimum environmental impact and a very efficient use of future resources. The court has positively assessed “the brilliant resolution of a complex project, with a great technical difficulty that can only be understood if the degradation status in which the complex is located is taken into consideration”.
