The Engineering and Technical Office Department has a team of over 20 technicians who support projects through all their phases: from the initial conception of the project to the completion of the work, gathering experiences along the way that help us learn and improve.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Throughout this journey, we design, propose different solutions, project more sustainable structures, integrate geometries, and work on process improvement. At CALAF, we incorporate the LEAN Construction philosophy as the foundation of our work system. We are committed to more efficient, predictable, and collaborative construction, focusing on shared planning, continuous improvement, and waste elimination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This approach allows us to generate more value with fewer resources, better adapt to changes, and reduce schedule and budget deviations. Above all, it enables us to work in a more collaborative and transparent manner with all parties involved in the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We apply specific LEAN tools to optimize both the planning phase and on-site execution:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Last Planner System (LPS)<\/strong> – A collaborative planning system that allows for better work management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Just in Time (JIT)<\/strong> – Supply of materials and resources at the exact moment to avoid excess inventory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 5S<\/strong> – An organization and order method to improve efficiency and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 BIM<\/strong> (Building Information Modeling) – Digital modeling to improve planning and reduce errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Big Room<\/strong> – The Big Room is a collaborative space where all project stakeholders work together to improve communication and expedite decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
