On Saturday March 21, 2015 the president of the council of Barcelona, Salvador Esteve, and the mayor of Gironella, David Font, inaugurated the new Library of Gironella. Calaf Constructora has carried out the works on the new building which has a floor space of approximately 1,000m2 over two floors.
