The intervention at the Baroque Museum of Catalonia, located in the former Sant Ignasi School in Manresa, transforms a historic complex into an open and contemporary cultural space. The project recovers the traces of the old Baroque church and integrates them with new volumes that redefine the museum’s access and its relationship with the city.

With an approximate area of 2,660 m², the project combines construction technique and heritage sensitivity to breathe new life into an emblematic building in the historic center. The materials, light, and interior routes have been conceived to establish a dialogue between the memory of the place and its current function, offering an architectural experience that connects past and present.

The result is a cultural space that strengthens the link between architecture, heritage, and the city, and reaffirms CALAF Constructora’s commitment to the conservation of historical legacy and the creation of quality cultural environments.
