Design and functionality for early childhood
CALAF Constructora has built the new Guinardó Municipal Nursery School, a unique educational center in Barcelona’s Horta-Guinardó district. Designed for children aged 0 to 3, the school is organized into six age groups and includes a multi-purpose hall and a large central courtyard connecting all spaces.
Featuring an innovative design reminiscent of a Rubik’s Cube, the building prioritizes natural light, functional versatility, and energy efficiency. It forms part of a complex of facilities that contributes to the improvement of the neighborhood and its social cohesion.
