At CALAF Constructora, we are participating in the development of the COV El Prat project, a cooperative housing development located in El Prat de Llobregat. Driven by the Cooperativa Obrera de Viviendas (COV) in collaboration with the City Council, the project is part of an innovative model that views housing as a right and promotes more accessible and collaborative access solutions.

The intervention involves the construction of a multi-family building with 101 official protection homes intended for affordable cooperative rental, on a plot of approximately 3,300 m² and with a buildable area close to 9,860 m². The complex includes parking, storage rooms, communal spaces, and bicycle areas, creating an environment designed for coexistence and community life.

The project, initiated in 2023 and scheduled for completion in 2026, is positioned as one of the main benchmarks for cooperative housing in Catalonia, both for its scale and its social impact. In this context, we contribute to developing a more accessible, stable, and locally rooted residential model, consistent with our construction approach and our commitment to people and the environment.
