Sustainable and safe mobility to connect neighborhoods through nature
CALAF Constructora has built the new footbridge connecting the urbanizations of Can Quiseró and El Maset, in Masquefa, resolving a long-standing mobility challenge between the two neighborhoods. The project involved a 230 m route over the Salt de Can Llopart stream, featuring a main metal footbridge of 78.30 m and two wooden footbridges totaling 80.50 m.
The project prioritized respect for hydraulic conditions and the natural environment, utilizing structures without intermediate piles and sustainable materials. This new connection, for pedestrians and cyclists, allows traversing the municipality from end to end without using the road, thereby enhancing safety, territorial cohesion, and the quality of life for residents.
