A unique bridge connecting past, present, and future

CALAF Constructora has built the new Cremades Bridge in Caldes de Montbui, a 40-meter infrastructure that improves mobility between the urban center and the municipality’s sports and residential area, while preserving the heritage value of the old Romanesque bridge.

With an asymmetrical design and a mixed structure—metal beam and reinforced concrete slab—the bridge incorporates an inclined pier adapted to the terrain, providing a distinctive architectural image. The beams were prefabricated off-site in a single piece and installed with a highly precise technical operation.

A project that combines innovative construction solutions with heritage and landscape sensitivity.
